If (natural) rosy red cheeks aren’t your aesthetic, try this calming moisturiser instead
The product
“Wow, you’re so red, you must be really embarrassed!” Who hasn’t been there? We swear we’re not embarrassed, we just have really flushed faces okay! If your schoolyard days were spent trying to explain why your face was so red (and the flush has followed you ever since), let us introduce you to the latest skin-saving product. Meet the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Rosaliac AR Moisturiser.
This latest dermatologically-tested launch focuses on improving your skin’s microbiome, with great thanks to the inclusion of sphingobioma. This new kid on the block works to neutralise and soothe your skin's microbiome, which is a serious skin-saving bonus we could all benefit from.
This sensitive skin-friendly green-tinted gel (yep, we’re working with colour theory here) works to soothe your skin, settling down signs of redness and of course, working to beat the uncomfortable feelings of flushed heat on your face.
So you’re probably dying to hear what our Review Crew® members had to say about this skin-balancing, game-changing moisturising gel. Let’s find out…
The panel
BEAUTYcrew sent the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Rosaliac AR Moisturiser to a panel of people over 18 with sensitive skin who suffer from redness and skin discomfort.
The lowdown
The redness-reducing effects: In line with the product’s redness-reducing promises, the REVIEWcrew® members were beyond pleased to see that the moisture lived up to its colour-correcting, calming claims. But not only that; the members were able to feel their skin being soothed as the flush faded.
The hard-hitting hydration: At the end of the day, this gel-like moisturiser is just that; a moisturiser. So getting the much-needed hydration hit was imperative to our REVIEWcrew® members. The members felt that the (green-tinted) lightweight texture sank easily and quickly into their skin, providing near instant calming, soothing effects.
The skin tone-balancing effects: Thanks to the dermatologically-backed inclusion of Sphingobioma, this moisturiser not only works to reduce redness and hydrate skin, but our REVIEWcrew® Members also raved about the texture-enhancing benefits. The microbiome-soothing benefits meant that our members saw a visible shift in the tone and texture of their skin.
