Here’s what our Review Crew® had to say about this French pharmacy formula
Pigmentation is one of those skin issues that we don’t tend to worry about… until BAM - it hits. Prevention is so much better than having to treat pigmentation once it’s already visible, but even if you’re diligent with your sunscreen (sun exposure is one of the most common causes of unwanted pigmentation), it’s hard to combat pigmentation-causing changes in your hormones or a genetic predisposition to the condition.
If you’ve started noticing sun spots, dark spots or age spots, you’ll want to reach for something that will give you results, quick smart.
The powerful Pigmentclar Serum from cult French pharmacy brand La Roche-Posay has been recommended by over 25,000 dermatologists worldwide and is designed to fade pigmentation.
This is all thanks to its highly-effective formula that includes concentrated LHA (a derivative of salicylic acid) to gently exfoliate and unify the skin. Meanwhile, its anti-dark spot complex contains an impressive line-up of ingredients including PhE-Resorcinol, ginkgo and ferulic acid to significantly reduce dark spots and pigment irregularities. Yep, this bad boy doesn’t muck around.
The best news? Results may start to be seen in as little as two weeks, and the serum’s efficacy continues for three weeks after stopping use.
And for bonus points, it even helps to minimise pores!
Our panel of Review Crew® testers put this product to the test.
The panel
Beauty Crew sent La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar Serum, as well as La Roche-Posay Toleriane Pigmentclar Eyes, to a panel of women aged between 25 and 55 with skin pigmentation that’s been caused by sun exposure, or a hormonal or genetic predisposition.
