Kim Kardashian just admitted to committing this beauty taboo
In the world of beauty, there are a few golden rules we always try to live by.
1. Never get a haircut when you’re sad. 2. Never over pluck your eyebrows. And 3. Never go to bed with makeup on.
But it seems that the most beautiful woman in the world, Kim Kardashian, frequently commits one of these cardinal sins (however, she doesn’t seem to see it that way).
“The one talent that I have,” said Kim in an Allure YouTube video called Kim Kardashian Answers Beauty Questions from the Internet, “it’s probably the worst advice to give to you guys, [but] I can sleep in full makeup.”
“I could sleep like this,” she said as she demonstrated laying flat on her back, “and never ruin my makeup.”
If you’re anything like us, then you’re probably pondering the same thing: why, though?
“If I have to get up really early in the morning, I’ll do my makeup the night before and have it done,” the SKKN founder explained. “[Then I’ll] sleep, not move, and wear it the whole next day, and you would never know.”
“My makeup lasts a really long time on my face, I don’t know why.”
As it turns out, the 41-year-old has road-tested her full face in a range of potential makeup-ruining scenarios.
“Like I could dive in the pool, get out, and my makeup will be exactly the same,” she revealed. Even with “non-waterproof mascara, for some reason my face just holds makeup.”
She even claims that she “could literally shower and get out, and you’d be like ‘oh my god, you still have all your makeup on’.”
“It’s the wildest thing.”
You know what’s wilder? The comments section of this video.
We weren’t even mildly shocked to find out we’re not the only ones left a little perturbed by Kardashian’s late night antics.
“This was an actual nightmare to watch as a skin care enthusiast,” exclaimed one viewer. “She said SOOOOOO much that was incorrect in literally the first two minutes. How is this person allowed to have a skin care brand!?”
“Sleeping in makeup? Just don't do it,” advised another. While one commenter just seemed genuinely confused by her ignorance, “sleeping with makeup? She is literally Kim Kardashian. How does she not know that is bad?”.
And we think this comment sums up our collective chagrin rather effectively: “Please. Don't give skin care advice. Sheesh.”

This isn’t the only bombshell the SKKN founder dropped recently. Kim Kardashian gets Botox, apparently.
