The Top Shelf: Jesinta Franklin
Including the makeup product she credits for “that little healthy glow”
From winning Miss Universe Australia in 2010 and finishing second runner-up in Miss Universe 2010, to publishing her own book called Live a Beautiful Life and appearing as a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice Australia, Jesinta Franklin (formerly known as Jesinta Campbell) has established herself as one of Australia's ones to watch.
Her latest project saw her launch a beauty and lifestyle app that covers off topics like beauty, wellness, health, fitness, and even a dedicated question category called ‘Ask Me’.
“I'm so excited to finally launch my app, it took a long time to get it off the ground,” says Franklin. “There is just so much involved in development and lots of back and forth with the team that was developing it for me. I wanted it to look really beautiful, be really easy to navigate and user-friendly as well.”
Unsurprisingly, given her career in the spotlight, Jesinta is a serious beauty buff: "the beauty section [on the app] is really fun, [there are] lots of tutorials [with] hero products [and a] a direct link to go and buy that. Beauty is just so fun, I just enjoy it and I love everyone that I get to work with in the industry. I feel like it's a little transformation whenever you get your hair and makeup done, you can feel like a different person," she told us during an exclusive interview.
