UPDATE: It seems Reddit user, alurchop was bang on the money with her theory that Kim Kardashian revealed an upcoming KKW Beauty product in a recent Snapchat. Kim has confirmed on her Instagram story that her next product launch is a Powder Contour and Highlight Kit.
The contour queen is expanding from her cream-based makeup line to include powder formulations packaged with a dual-ended brush (just like the one spotted below) for a seamless application.
While there’s no official launch date for the new products as of yet, we expect you’re going to have to be quick to get your hands on them. So watch this space for our next update!
If the hype surrounding the launch of Kim Kardashian’s own makeup line, KKW Beauty was anything to go by (her Contour and Highlighting Kits sold out in minutes, twice!), we can expect big things and a whole lot of excitement to continue to surround the brand as more products are released.
And if one eagle eye Reddit user’s theory is anything to go by, we might already have a hint as to what the next product in KKW Beauty’s arsenal might be. Reddit user, Alurchop asked the question on the popular Reddit ‘Makeup Addiction’ thread, “Did Kim just accidentally snap her new brush for the contour kits?” after Kim posted an image of her makeup draw on her Instagram story with the caption ‘When did I become this person?’
In the image, a plethora of beauty products feature, including cult buys like Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer and Charlotte Tilbury’s Film Star Bronze and Glow, a slew of Kylie Cosmetics blushes and of course, numerous KKW Beauty Contour and Highlighting Kits. It’s after a closer look at those KKW Beauty products that Alurchop noticed something was a little different: a double-ended brush that differed to the one that’s included in her existing kit.
The brush in question features an angled blush brush on one end, and a fluffy brush that looks as though it can be used to apply a range of products – such as powders and highlighters – on the other end.
While some within the Reddit thread thinks the potential reveal was a slip-up on Kim’s part, others are convinced it was a deliberate move by the A-lister to get the Internet speculating about what’s next for her new makeup brand. Only time will tell if either guess is correct, but in the meantime, we’ll be keeping a very close eye on all of Kim’s social media accounts for more KKW Beauty-related clues.
