Official Makeup Artist for Chanel Australia, Victoria Baron, shared her tips on how to achieve a ‘fresh off the boat in Capri’ Mediterranean glow that’ll warm you up from the outside, in.1

Step 1: A bronzed glow

To achieve a bronzed and luminous glow, “apply a light oil to the skin to accentuate collarbones and shoulders” says Victoria. Use the Chanel Huile de Jasmin Revitalising Facial Oil with Jasmine Extract $220.

For a luminous complexion, choose a bronzer with ultra-fine gold particles. “You’re not using a bag of products to create a sculpted, contoured face here. It can’t look contrived. It has to look like your second skin.” Try the Chanel Les Beiges Heathy Glow Luminous Colour bronzer, $88.

Step 2: Waterproof mascara

Never forget to pack a great waterproof mascara for pool-proof lashes when preparing for your European summer getaway.

The biggest blunder when it comes to waterproof mascara according to Victoria is “not curling the lashes before applying a waterproof formula… Because the formula sets firmer to withstand the elements, you must curl first.” Pack the Chanel Le Volume de Chanel Waterproof Mascara in Noir, $56.

Step 3: A summery lip tone

Brighten up your makeup look with the perfect coral pink lip colour that’ll work perfectly with your Capri summer wardrobe and elevate your winter makeup palette.

“You want the glamour of a lipstick but the ease of a gloss,” says Victoria. She recommends the Chanel Rouge Coco Stylo in Esquisse, $53.
