4 ways to style your fringe
Kendall Jenner proves how versatile the style can actually be
When compared to her Kardashian sisters, Kendall Jenner is probably the least experimental with her hair. But not long ago the model underwent a mini hair transformation, adding a wispy fringe to her signature straight locks. And her new looks didn’t stop there. While she’s still got the same fringe, Kendall has well and truly proved that a fringe doesn’t limit your look to the same old hairstyle day in and day out. Here’s four ways Kendall styled her fringe, demonstrating just how versatile this hair trend can be.
1
Low-maintenance glam
The look: Messy centre part
Recreate it: Start by tying your hair back into a low bun, ponytail or plait. Pull out long pieces on either side of your fringe to soften the look and frame your face, and loosely separate your fringe in the middle. This hairstyle works best a little bit messy, so don’t stress if every hair isn’t perfectly in place.

Casual everyday
The look: Swept back
Recreate it: Use dry shampoo to create volume at the crown by spraying it into the roots and around your centre part. Then, brush it backwards to create a pushed back look and to help disperse the dry shampoo. Finish off with a spritz of hairspray and don’t be afraid to use your hands to flick it back for the ultimate ‘I woke up like this’ look.

Up the ante
The look: Slicked back
Recreate it: The perfect hairstyle to work with your end-of-week greasiness. First, brush all of your hair backwards, as tight and slick against your head as possible, before securing into a low bun or ponytail. Swap hairspray for a shine-inducing styling gel to prevent flyways, give hair a glossy sheen and ensure your fringe is secure without the risk of it flopping forward.

Deep side part
The look: Feminine side fringe
Recreate it: Start with wet hair and using a tail comb, choose how deep you want your side part. Blow-dry your hair straight with a round brush, making sure you point the dryer in the right direction for your new part. Finish it off by adding an anti-shine serum to stop frizz and then dress up the look by securing one side with a bobby pin.
