Here's everything you need to know about ghd's brand new tool
ICYMI (and we're sure there's simply no way you have): a big, bouncy blowout is in. It's giving '90s supermodel chic and we're seriously about it. Yep, we'll happily take the time to perfect the art of the blow dry if it means adding some serious volume to our mane.
And the best thing to come out of the tress-trend has to be all the top-tier products. From gaining a whole new appreciation for round brushes to researching every kind of hot brushes imaginable. However, amongst all the hair tool hysteria, what we didn't think was on our bingo cards for this year was a whole new innovation from our favourite strand-savers, ghd.
Paralleling their Duet Style wet-to-dry technology, they've come up with the answer to the question we didn't realise was on our lips, could hot brushes get any better? Turns out, yep, they can. So, let's learn more about this brand new (and incredibly exciting) launch!
What is the ghd Duet Blowdry?
The just launched ghd Duet Blowdry is the very first two-in-one strand transforming, hair drying brush that takes you from soggy to styles in just minutes. Promising a smooth, voluminous blow dry finish, your mane will be enjoying the benefits of no heat damage. Yep, you read that right. Styling your strands with this brush won't result in damaged, dry locks. It actually works to remove frizz and boosts your natural shine.
And with less energy consumption used that your classic hair drier and brush combo, this perfect for all hair types brush is going to be the reason you're constantly complimented on your hair. Where do we sign up?
How does the ghd Duet Blowdry work?
Unlike the other ghd hot brushes (sorry rise and glide) the innovative brush is the first tool to harness the power of Heat-Air Xchange Technology. But what does that mean? Well, it's pretty simple. The strand-saving brush uses a unique (and world-class) aerodynamic system that when partnered with their snag-free silicon bristles (a total life-saver, trust us) the barrel harnesses the power of airflow (rather than heat alone) to heat up the barrel and create unbeatable texture. The brush has been designed to be used on wet hair, so you've not even got the awkward dance of changing products mid-style to get the look you're after.
How much does the ghd Duet Blowdry cost?
The ghd Duet Blowdry will retail for $595 from the ghd website. The brand new launch was released on the 10th of July, so you best bet people will be running to get their hands on the clever innovation. And while we don't have confirmation of other stockist just yet. We're pretty sure the likes of Sephora and Adore Beauty will have the launch on site real soon.
