Say goodbye to makeup wipes, we’re going eco-friendly with our cleansing routine
Here’s what our Review Crew® had to say about this reusable offering
The product
Thanks to modern innovations and eco-consciousness (as well as a better understanding of good skin care) less and less of us are reaching for single-use disposable cleansing options like makeup wipes. Instead, we’re looking to modernised solutions that can be reused again and again without fail. Not only does this mean less waste in the long run, but less trips to the supermarket, and as a result, our wallets are pretty thankful too.
Say hello to your new cleansing routine ladies and gents: Garnier Micellar Reusable Eco Pads and Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.
This innovative cleansing duo takes efficiency, affordability and eco-friendly to a whole new level. Simply add a few drops of the gentle and sensitive skin-friendly micellar water onto one of the ultra-soft reusable pads and watch as the micelle-powered solution and magnetic fibres get to work cleansing away your day. And when you’re done? Simply wash and reuse, because these eco-friendly pads last up to 1000 washes. Phew.
Here’s what our panel of Review Crew® testers had to say about this pair of eco-friendly cleansers.
The panel
Beauty Crew sent Garnier Micellar Reusable Eco Pads and Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to a panel of women aged 18 to 39 with a variety of skin types, including sensitive skin, who needed a cleansing solution that could cut through their daily makeup with minimal effort.
The lowdown
Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about the Garnier Micellar Reusable Eco Pads and Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.
The eco-friendly aspect: We don’t know about you, but there’s something doubly satisfying about a cleansing option that’s also friendly on the planet. Our reviewers are a bit over single-use makeup wipes, so the reusable eco pads were a welcome change from the more wasteful option.
How effective the cleansing duo was: When used together, reviewers found that the reusable pads and micellar water gently but effectively cleansed their skin, no matter what they’d done that day. We’re talking buh-bye to makeup, dirt and impurities with just a few thorough swipes of the micellar-soaked pads.
A little goes a long way: Even though our reviewers were sent a mini-sized bottle of micellar water, when paired with the eco pads many of them admitted they still had ample product to play with. Only a few drops were needed to get the job done.
