Meet the luxurious Elie Saab fragrance our reviewers are completely smitten with

It's a total 'ode to light'

The product

If you're anything like us, we can basically guarantee that leaving the house without a spritz of a signature scent is absolutely not about to happen. There's just something so empowering about leaving the house knowing you smell so good that you're literally going to turn heads. Because we all know 'you smell good' is a top-tier compliment.

So, when picking a perfume we look for a few key things.

First up, the scent (of course). Fresh and floral are year-round winners in our eyes. Then of course, we want those stunning notes to last. And we mean all day long. And finally, we want the bottle to look pretty. Because TBH it's got to fit in on a very aesthetically pleasing shelf.

And when we were thinking about what fragrance ticked off our key three must-haves, we come to realise it was none other than the Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Parfum

The feminine, elegant scent delivers on all the key essentials in a perfume. And honestly, guarantees compliments, it's just that iconic. With scent notes belonging to the floral chypre olfactory family, you can expect this perfume to blossom as it opens. With notes of...

Top notes: Orange blossom

Heart notes: Jasmine, Honey rose

Base notes: Patchouli, Cedar woods

It's a long-lingering scent you'll be happy to have around. And when it comes to the bottle, we're basically speechless (unheard of, honestly). Designed to capture and reflect light, the jewel-like multi-faceted bottle gives off opulent vibes and offers a true 'ode to light'.

So, let's hear what our members had to say about this sumptuously dreamy scent...

The panel

BEAUTYcrew and Marie Claire sent the Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Parfum to a panel of fragrance-loving, beauty enthusiasts aged 25-45.

The lowdown

The elegant, enchanting bottle: Call us fickle, but there's absolutely no better feeling than having a totally luxe and incredibly stunning perfume bottle sitting on your shelf. And thankfully our REVIEWcrew members all agreed with us. They adored the heavy crystal bottle, noting how beautifully the light shone through.

The long-wearing notes: When you're spritzing on your perfume in the morning, you're assuming it's going to at least last you till lunch time. But with some fragrances that's not the case. Thankfully, Elie Saab Le Parfum is the total opposite. It lasts and lasts, with our members noting they could seriously still smell the powerful scent after a long day.

The fresh, floral scent: Equally as important as having a perfume that's set to last is having one that smells incredible. And we think our members have all agreed that this elevated scent is the scent for everyone. Yep, it's a big call, but across generations this fragrance has come out on top as a total winner. And we only have the beautiful, empowering notes to thank for that.

Elie Saab you have my heart, metaphorically, in a sweet little crystal atomiser! The packaging and bottle alone, is absolutely precious, special gift worthy! I adore opening something that’s so simplistically beautiful, it’s refreshing, the class is evident. This floral aromatic scent gave me wafts of nostalgia, the jasmine tones combined with a richer undertone reminded me of how my mother’s 4711 would warm on her skin, transforming it into a completely different perfume than the one that’s bought today. This is a luscious scent, a light spritz to brighten your day or dabbed on the 5 pulse points to create a decadent sillage for occasions. Even after a fortnight of daily use, each spritz is as strongly scented as the last - my senses haven’t dulled the aroma.

Beautifully scented perfume with long lasting fragrance. The sweet floral fragrance is captivating and is very attractive to the nose perfect for any occasion and everyday wear. I was in awe with its long lasting affects that I still smelt so beautiful after exercise and all day wear. Only require 2-3 sprays for all day wear. My partner made several comments over my time reviewing this product on how nice I smelt coming home at night. I love the design of the bottle, elegant but simple. It also featured a lid which clicks into place which I really enjoy as I personally seem to always loose my perfume lids in my handbag. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to switch up their fragrance to something fresh and captivating that will definitely turn heads.

I am a huge fan of orange blossom, jasmine and patchouli, and this parfum has all of these combined within its little jewel glass bottle creating a floral experience for the senses. Each scent is able to shine through on its own without having to compete against the other, thus leaving a long lasting floral scent that stays, and you only need a small spray to have it last all day. The packaging and bottle design looks elegant and is able to be left on display, I’m a sucker for a pretty glass bottle. I’m planning on gifting a bottle to my friend who is getting married soon as she fell in love with it when she tried it and I think it will look lovely in her photos!
