“Avène's skin care products are always gentle and provide the results that you want. With the exfoliating serum I knew that this would live up to my expectations. The exfoliating serum is targeted for those with acne, post acne marks and pigmentation and for those who want to improve skin texture. I have a bit of all three! I will get breakouts mostly around my chin, I have some pigmentation on my cheeks that I would like to get rid of and my skin texture is not as smooth as it can be. I want soft and smooth skin so I can feel confident enough going out without wearing makeup and if I choose to wear makeup I don't want my skin to look bumpy and rough. I apply the serum morning and night on clean skin. It's a lightweight serum that feels nice on the skin. I have already noticed some improvements since using the serum. The post acne pigmentation on my cheeks has lightened so they aren't as noticeable. It has controlled the oil levels of my skin, I have also noticed less acne and improved skin texture. I didn't notice the results right away, it took about a week to start seeing improvements. My final thoughts: a very good exfoliating serum, gentle, does what it says it does and it might take some time but you will see results.”

“I have sensitive combination oily skin. I've never got on that well with AHAs, so I was skeptical when I was sent this serum. But it has quickly turned into a staple in my routine. The serum is very liquidy. It spreads over the skin super easily and absorbs fast. Once absorbed, I don't notice it on my skin except for my skin looking smoother and more matte than it normally would. The serum has a slight clinical scent but I dont notice it for very long after applying. Normally with AHAs my skin gets quite sensitive and red, but it has not with this serum. It has evened out texture, making my skin much smoother and redness appears to have decreased. Pigmentation has slightly faded and I am getting less breakout than normal. The serum comes in a bottle with a dropper applicator, which feels very luxe. I have already recommended this serum to family and friends.”
