Chrissy Teigen trolled everyone at Met Gala with this hilarious post
Her hair tutorial is *everything*
She may not have been on the Met Gala red carpet this year due to the imminent birth of baby #2, but Chrissy Teigen still brought her A-game by posting a hilarious series of social media posts. And this is why we love her so much.
Around the same time Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and Blake Lively were working it on the red carpet, Chrissy shared three Instagram shots that pretty much solidified her as a woman of the people.
Sprawled out on her couch wearing trackies and playing Nintendo, Chrissy captioned the pic, “waiting for my turn on the carpet at #metgala!!!! Always an honor!!!”
She followed the hilarious post with a shot of her messy bun (you know, the one we all rock as soon as we walk through our front door), and a detailed breakdown of her DIY at-home hair routine. It’s so relatable it's as if Chrissy can see into our souls.
She wrote, “this year’s #metgala GLAM was #SUPER important to me as I wanted it to really embody the heavenly bodies theme!!! I think we nailed it!! Swipe for #creds!!! First I shampooed my #hair yesterday with #shampoo then I let it sit for 4 minutes while I #shaved the areas I could see on my #body.”
“Next, I used a #towel to dry my hair from roots to ends!! Then, I used a #rubberband to secure my hair into a pony that I was careful not to pull out all the way! Lastly, I pulled out pieces around my #ears and #neck ! Full tutorial coming up tomorrow!!!!!!! Like and subscribe!!!!!”
The trolling rampage then rolled onto Twitter, with Chrissy posting a screenshot of a text message she sent to her friend. And we seriously want to have a word with her glam squad. “Honestly I’m pissed a little,”she wrote, “because I always wanted to wear head shit and no one ever lets me and the one year I don’t go it’s head shit year."
Her last Instagram post from the night was going to be a makeup breakdown but Chrissy admitted that she was actually just very jealous she wasn’t there. And that she needed to drink more water (also relatable).
Thank god for Chrissy Teigen.
