The product

Has dull skin been getting you down? And you've started to spy visible signs of ageing? But you find using potent, active-packed skin care is too much for your skin? Don’t worry, you’re not going to be condemned to living a life lacking lustre. We’ve discovered a range designed to offer seriously rejuvenated and visibly renewed skin. And it comes in a comprehensive four-step approach. Ready to take the first step?

Alright, step one, we’re going to cleanse (twice a day, of course), with the Cetaphil Healthy Renew Micellar Cleansing Water. Because it turns out, our cleansers actually have a lot to answer for when it comes to their skin-boosting benefits. This pick provides your skin with a soothed, hydrated and (of course) purified finish.

Squeaky clean skin is always the perfect way to start a skin-boosting routine. So, now that the clever micellar technology has gone to work, you can apply the next product (AKA the Cetaphil Healthy Renew Facial Serum). Powered by purified peptides (read: retinol-like power, minus the aggression), this encapsulated serum works to address concerns of skin elasticity, texture and tone. Um, absolutely.

If the thought of putting anything too potent near your eyes raises red flags, but you still want to leave them looking hydrated and sans the telltale dark circles (and the growing concern of signs of ageing) then let us introduce you to step three: the Cetaphil Healthy Renew Eye Serum. Formulated with niacinamide and panthenol, it might just be the eye care step you’ve been searching for. And, it’ll give your skin plenty of time to absorb the previous skin-boosting step in, before heading onto the final step in the routine.

Step four: the Cetaphil Healthy Renew Day Cream. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again, hydrated skin is happy skin. And yep, unlike traditional retinols, this hydrating cream has been designed to be a-okay to be used in the morning. So, you’re going to be able to get your brilliant, plumped up, more even, visibly refreshed skin from AM to PM and it’s all down to this seriously all-inclusive routine.

So, if you’re ready for an anti-ageing range that works to address the visible signs of aging in just a matter of weeks, you’re going to want to read what our members had to say about the youth-boosting benefits…

The panel

BEAUTYcrew sent the Cetaphil Healthy Renew Range (Facial Serum, Eye Serum, Micellar Cleansing Water and Day Cream) to a panel of women 25-40 with a range of skin types from ‘normal’ to sensitive.

The lowdown

The gentle, nourishing formulas: If potent skin care formulas often leave you feeling scared for your skin barrier, then it’s time to make the switch to a gentle, (age) supporting range. And our REVIEWcrew members are here to give this gentle quartet their seal of effective-yet-gentle approval.

The brightening effects: Let’s be so real. Dull skin is a total confidence killer. It seems to make everything sit just slightly off, and no matter how much highlighter you pack on, you can’t seem to fake your way to a glowing visage. Well, our members are here to tell you that brighter, renewed skin could be right around the corner. And all it takes is a few simple, rejuvenating switches.

The skin-texture improving benefits: If using retinol-based products is too stressful for your skin, but you still want the same skin-boosting benefits, then it’s time to switch to a retinol-alternative. Our members found that the powers of purified peptides gave them similar skin-plumping results as they would find from using a retinol-based product.

Cetaphil Healthy Renew Facial Serum is an excellent addition to any skincare routine, especially for those seeking a gentle, yet effective anti-aging solution. The serum is lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. It contains key ingredients like niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, which help to hydrate and smooth the skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. After consistent use, the skin feels noticeably softer, more radiant, and balanced. The fragrance-free formula is also perfect for those with sensitive skin, as it minimises the risk of irritation. Another highlight is its non-comedogenic property, meaning it won’t clog pores, making it ideal for acne-prone skin such as mine. While results may vary depending on individual skin types, overall, Cetaphil Healthy Renew Facial Serum provides a solid, affordable option for anyone looking to enhance their skincare regimen.

I would give this product 100 stars if I could. What a difference in my face. The fine lines on my forehead and crow's feet have definitely minimised. My face felt so hydrated, refreshed and a bonus is it is also protected. I got no tingling or any breakouts trying this product and it is great for sensitive skin. Love the pump bottle. You don't need a lot so it will last a very long time. Makeup went beautifully over it and I use this instead of a primer now. I love it, highly recommend it. I am very impressed.

After using the Renew Eye serum for the last few weeks, I may have found my new favourite eye cream. It claims to help with dark circles and fine lines and I must say it lives up to its promises. I noticed the area around my eyes feels more smooth and looks more radiant and youthful. One of my favourite things about the eye serum is how lightweight but hydrating it is. The hydrating power is so lightweight but even on my dry skin, my eye area doesn't feel tight at the end of the day. Given it's so lightweight, it also wears really well under makeup to provide a smooth base. As someone with sensitive skin who struggles with using retinol, I really appreciate this new line that Cetaphil has launched. It is gentle but definitely delivers the promised results.

It was my first time using Cetaphil Healthy Renew Micellar Cleansing Water and I can definitely say it won't be my last. I used a small amount on a face cleaning pad and managed to remove all of my makeup with ease with only a small amount of product. My skin felt super refreshed and hydrated well into the next day. Perfect for any sensitive skin as this product is alcohol and fragrance free which I look for in my products. The bottle design is also great and very easy to use. Will definitely continue to use this twice a day.
