Her latest look is a long way from her usual natural vibe

We've got nothing against banana bread (lord knows we've been consuming our fair share throughout quarantine), but when it comes to isolation past-times, we're definitely more at home in the beauty department than the baking one.
It looks like Bella Hadid is right there with us, starting early on with a fringe chop and more recently, breaking out her boldest beauty looks to cure boredom. The best bit? This officially means we have something else to add to our 'similarities between us and one of our generation's top supermodels' list – so far, it's this and 'both human'.
The latest look she's graced our 'grams with? An avant-garde winged liner moment seemingly inspired by Black Swan – DW girl, movie marathons and makeup have been the only lights of our lives lately, as well.
"Made my face a canvas on one of the many days I felt completely useless," Hadid shared via social media, noting that her enviable Dior makeup collection (being a brand ambassador certainly helps in the haul department) was the range behind the aesthetic.
Because she's apparently even more like us than we realised, Hadid opted for a mini DIY shoot to show it off – yep, celebs use self-timer, too. Our snaps don't usually look quite like hers, no, but we still appreciate the common ground.
Her industry pals were just as enamoured by the graphic butterfly-esque wing as we were; "Wowwww! You're coming for @peterphilipsmakeup 😜👏❤️" wrote sister Gigi Hadid's makeup artist Erin Parsons, referencing Peter Philips, the man who's usually on liner-application duty for Hadid's more 'official' Dior shoots.
But while the look appears quite complex (points for detail), it appears as if only three products were necessary: a charcoal kohl liner crayon for the shape, a cherry-coloured shadow for the shading, and a jet-black mascara for a little lash definition.
As for the application, follow Hadid's lead if you're feeling focused, or just let your creativity reign – we'll bet that's how she got here herself, and the results were very rewarding.
