The beauty products Kelly Rowland can’t live without

Former member of girl group Destiny’s Child and Grammy award-winning artist Kelly Rowland is currently keeping busy creating a documentary about finding the next big girl group, as well as working towards releasing a makeup line (we can’t wait!). So when she revealed to Into The Gloss her skin care, makeup and hair routine, and the products she swears by, we were keen to find out what made her cut. Here’s how Kelly stays beautiful while busy:

On her skin saviours...
Kelly loves Shani Darden Retinol Reform, which she referred to as magic in a bottle, saying “I swear by it!” She also uses Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel Pads, revealing “they work so well. Two weeks ago I had the worst breakout, and I used the pads so vigorously, and the next day I woke up with a new face”.

On her daily skin care routine…
No stranger to a full face of makeup, Kelly’s beauty priority is a clean face, so she cleanses morning and night. “I wear makeup daily so I want to feel squeaky clean, and this makes me feel like I got everything off,” she says of iS Clinical Cleansing Complex. As for moisturiser, Kelly swears by Lancer’s Nourish Cream, “and I also like Control Corrective’s Oil-Free Sunscreen,” she added.

On her key hair products...
The singer’s signature hairstyle is glossy beach waves, for which she reaches for two products: “My favourite dry shampoo is Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray, but I also like the Ouai Wave Spray. If I’m going for a beachy look I’ll put some of that in my hair and call it a day,” she says. “Anything more than a wave spray, and I’m screwed. Makeup I can do - hair I cannot.”

On her go-to makeup products…
“My foundation and concealer is Koh Gen Do. I love how light it is. [I also] used Artis brushes [this morning], but usually I apply with my fingers,” she shared in the interview. When looking a bit worse for wear, Kelly’s go-to solution is Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage…and a blush by NARS in Taj Mahal. “I use [the blush] every day. I used the same shade on my eyes, too, just to warm everything up. It looks really natural.”
