While we love a new fragrance to spritz and boost our mood as much as the next beauty addict, we particularly love it when it comes from a fashion designer. Their clothes make such a statement in our wardrobes that we’re always keen to see how their personality translates into a scent.
The latest fashion designer to release a fragrance is Kenzo Takada. And in a surprising pairing, the quirky designer has teamed up with Avon to bring us the two new scents, Avon Life for Her and Avon Life for Him.
The beauty brand and Kenzo have developed the fragrances alongside three master perfumers from Firmenich, the world’s largest fragrance company, and were inspired by a combination of Asian beauty and French flair. The idea behind the release according to Takada is to make “creative inspiration a beautiful reality,” which is why he opted for vibrant and fresh notes designed to last all day long.
Avon Life For Him combines notes of black pepper, violet leaves and Virginia cedarwood while Avon Life For Her features a blend of violet, white tea natureprint, iris and patchouli.
If you’re looking to test out the new scents for yourself or are looking for the perfect Christmas present for a fashion-loving friend, both fragrances are available online at www.avon.com.au for $59.
Perfume is perhaps one of the most subjective beauty products around, so if woody and floral scents aren’t for you or if you’re looking for a fragrance that will just make you smell clean, check out our top picks for smelling like you’ve just jumped out of the shower, all day long.
