Khloe Kardashian’s recent health and fitness transformation is incredibly impressive. Not only has Koko shared a plethora of images of her progress on her Instagram, she’s also been pretty candid about sharing the workout routine she sticks to as well as revealing the disciplined diet she follows to stay in shape.
That disciplined diet, according to her nutritionist, Dr. Philip Goglia involves steering clear of red meat and dairy and stocking up on fresh vegetables “like broccolini, asparagus, spinach and bell peppers.”
Goglia also revealed in a post on Khloe’s app that fresh fruit, eggs, chicken and fish are essentials in the youngest Kardashian sister’s pantry, as well as olive oil for cooking and as a healthy alternative to salad dressings, which are often loaded with sugar and salt.
Since being on top of meal planning everyday isn’t always possible, Goglia suggests keeping a few cans of tuna on hand. “This is the ideal emergency food for those ‘oops I don’t have any meat to cook for dinner or lunch’ moments. You can use a can of tuna in salad or over veggies. It’s an ideal source of high quality, low-fat protein,” he said.
Goglia also confirmed our worst food related fears by saying it’s best to avoid “foods that are multi-ingredient, like breads, muffins, bagels, pastries and cereals. Basically baked goods that are yeast, sugar, mould and gluten bound.” Well there goes our top five favourite brunch options then!
