The product

The hype around skin care containing extracts from hemp has been building over the last couple of years, and take it from us, demand for this ingredient is about to EXPLODE.

If you’re not already familiar with this super-powered (and somewhat controversial!) ingredient, its derivatives - hemp seed oil and hemp stem cells - carry a host of benefits, including counteracting the effects of free radicals, oxidative damage, sun exposure, pollution and premature ageing.

Given hemp's skin-loving benefits, Andalou Naturals decided to hero hemp seed oil and hemp stem cells in a new face mask, and the results are positively glowing!

Andalou Naturals CannaCell® Glow Mask is an enzyme jelly mask that gently dissolves dry surface cells and leaves skin soft, soothed AND with the glow-factor dialled wayyy up.

Our panel of Review Crew® testers put this product to the test.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent the Andalou Naturals CannaCell® Glow Mask, as well as the Andalou Naturals CannaCell® Beauty Oil, to a panel of women aged between 25 and 40 who were searching for products to brighten up their dull, distressed skin.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about the Andalou Naturals CannaCell® Glow Mask.

How the mask improved the appearance of dull skin: Many members were excited to see that even immediately after use, their skin looked much brighter and more plump.

How nourishing the mask was: Reviewers loved how refreshed, hydrated and nourished their skin felt after washing the mask off.

How easy the mask was to use: The panel were impressed with how easy the mask was to use; the gel texture was cooling on the skin and smoothed easily over the complexion.

Good to know: Some members found the tingling sensation of the mask uncomfortable. The product contains enzymes, which tend to tingle on the skin while they work; it’s completely normal however if you have sensitive skin, this product might not be for you.

“The texture is a lovely, cooling gel that feels really comfortable on your skin after application. I was really surprised by the immediate effects of the mask. My skin actually looked brighter and more awake, so it’s true to its name!”

“This has to be hands down one of the best face masks I have ever used. The formulation is gel-like and applies very easily. It [feels] slightly warm/tingly when you first apply it but the sensation goes away after five minutes. Once you wash off the mask 30 minutes later, the face is baby soft and there is a definite glow!!!”
